Erin Brown, LM, IBCLC -

Erin is amazing! Without her expertise and support I don't know if I would have persevered trying to breastfeed my daughter who had other ideas. I desperately wanted to breastfeed, but we were struggling and as a new mother I was frustrated and felt like our time to establish breastfeeding was quickly running out. After multiple visits to the hospital lactation consultants, I decided to call Erin on the recommendation of a friend. I immediately felt at ease with Erin and could see that she was as much invested in getting my daughter to breastfeed as I was. She truly understood my frustration and fear and her gentle nature put me at ease. After only 3 appointments with Erin my daughter was nursing and we were almost totally weaned off of formula by the time she was 6 weeks old. My daughter is now 18 months old and she is still nursing. I will forever be grateful to Erin.

Erin came to my rescue when my baby-girl was only a few weeks old and I was suffering tremendously from pain caused her poor latch. I called Erin in a state of desperation, and she was  immediately caring and calming. I had gotten to a point where I was actually starting to wonder if I'd even be able to continue breastfeeding, because I was in so much pain.  Erin worked hard with my baby and I to figure out ways to help make breastfeeding less painful, and gave me so many helpful suggestions and encouragement.  When I developed a breast-infection, and was again beside myself with despair, Erin gave me a very clear guidelines to fight the infection using herbs, homeopathy and other techniques.  With this rigorous defense-plan, I was able to overcome the infection without turning to antibiotics. Erin was just generally so compassionate, caring, and competent; I didn't doubt for a second that I was in good hands. I was also so impressed and grateful for how consistent her care was; checking in on me in the days and weeks after my consultations, and always getting right back to me when I called or sent messages. My baby is now 10 months old, and we're still breastfeeding through day and night--free of struggle and pain. I feel so blessed to have connected with Erin when I did.
